Studio
Audra has taught both performance classes and private study. Lessons generally include work on basic vocal foundation development, such as breath, support, placement and tone concept, as well as musical and repertoire application and development. Students are free to bring in pieces of any genre, and are active participants in their own development.
Audra's teaching style is particularly in tune to the resolution of technical problems and the fostering of skills that make students self-sufficient as well as confident.
For those students interested in the finer points of vocal technique, Audra offers a systematic, logical system by which both the intermediate and advanced singer can realize the best possible sound, as well as develop the proper tools to polish all of the elements necessary for successful performance.
Audra's students are frequently noted for extensive vocal range and power as well as quick progress. Currently Audra is the voice coordinator at Five Towns College. She has also served on the voice faculty of Molloy College, the Hartt School at the University of Hartford, and taught voice and violin at Music in Chappaqua.
